CHANGE YOUR DIET
How should you transition your cat’s diet? We recommend gradually introducing new foods to avoid stomach upsets. Generally, the entire process should take about 7 days. Remember to monitor the transition to ensure it’s going according to plan. Initially, introduce the new food by mixing it with the current food in a 1:3 ratio, gradually increasing the ratio over time, so that after 7 days, you’re feeding your cat only the new food. Monitor the entire process closely.
Initially, we recommend mixing the new food with the current food in a 1:3 ratio, and if everything goes smoothly, increase the ratio to 1:1 after 4 days, and to 3:1 after 6 days. After 7-8 days, if the transition is still going smoothly, you can transition to feeding your cat only the new food.
When transitioning, we recommend keeping feeding times and locations as usual. If you have any concerns or additional questions, please consult your veterinarian.
