Dr. Seidel shampoo with chlorhexidine and ketoconazole
Dr. Seidel’s specialized concentrated shampoo with chlorhexidine and ketoconazole is an excellent product for skin care of animals during therapy for skin inflammations caused by: gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections and fungal infections (including yeasts). It also helps reduce itching. Contains mild cleansing agents and hydrolyzed keratin. Contains no dyes or fragrances.

Recommendations for use
The shampoo is recommended as an aid during the treatment of the skin lesions listed above, and the ketoconazole contained in it additionally has strong antifungal properties against yeasts and dermatophytes. Ketoconazole inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol – a compound necessary for the construction of fungal cells. The shampoo also helps reduce itching.
Note: The condition for the product to work is at least 5-10 minutes of contact with the skin. For dogs and cats. In the case of other animals – only if recommended by a doctor.

Active ingredients
CHLORHEXIDINE

It has both a bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect (limits their growth or multiplication). The mechanism of action is based on the disruption of the microorganism’s cell membrane
used in the treatment of skin inflammations caused by bacterial infections G(+) and G(-) and fungal infections (including yeast Malassezia pachydermatis)

KETOCONAZOLE

has strong antifungal properties against yeasts and dermatophytes
inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol – a compound necessary for building fungal cells
it also helps to reduce itching

Use
Brush the animal before bathing. Wet the skin and fur thoroughly with lukewarm water. Spread the shampoo, massaging vigorously until foam is produced. Rinse thoroughly after 5-10 minutes. Repeat the procedure. Protect the animal’s ears, eyes and muzzle during bathing. In case of skin problems, consult your veterinarian on the frequency and method of use.
