Dr. Seidel’s shampoo with chlorhexidine
Dr. Seidel’s specialized concentrated shampoo with chlorhexidine is an excellent product for animal skin care during therapy for skin inflammations caused by: gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections, fungal infections (including yeasts), hypersensitivity disorders and hormone-dependent dermatoses. The shampoo does not irritate the skin and mucous membranes. Contains mild cleansing agents, making it suitable for frequent use. The product does not contain dyes or fragrances. Shampoo intended for: dogs, cats and rodents.

Recommendations for use

Dr. Seidel shampoo with chlorhexidine is recommended as an aid in the treatment of the following skin diseases:
Bacterial infections: superficial phlegmons: purulent inflammation of the skin folds (face, lips, vulva, tail); superficial phlegmons: impetigo juvenile, superficial bacterial folliculitis; deep phlegmons: canine acne, secondary bacterial pododermatitis
Fungal infections: Malassezia pachydermatis dermatitis ; dermatophytosis
Hypersensitivity disorders (due to concomitant secondary bacterial and Malassezia pachydermatis skin infections ): atopic dermatitis; food allergy; flea allergy dermatitis
Hormonal skin diseases (due to concomitant secondary bacterial and Malassezia pachydermatis skin infections ): related to sex hormones (in intact males and intact females); hyperadrenocorticism (dogs); hypothyroidism (dogs)
For dogs, cats and rodents. For other animals – only if recommended by a doctor.

Active ingredients

CHLORHEXIDINE

It has both a bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect (limits their growth or multiplication). The mechanism of action is based on the disruption of the microorganism’s cell membrane
used in the treatment of skin inflammations caused by bacterial infections G(+) and G(-) and fungal infections (including yeast Malassezia pachydermatis )

Use
Brush the animal before bathing. Wet the skin and fur thoroughly with lukewarm water. Spread the shampoo, massaging vigorously until foam is created. Rinse thoroughly after 5 minutes. Repeat the procedure. Protect the animal’s ears, eyes and muzzle during bathing.

In case of skin problems, consult your veterinarian regarding frequency and method of use.
